Upgrade BIOS for ASUS Eee-PC 1015 PEM using Internet

To upgrade bios for ASUS Eee-PC 1015 PEM, run the Windows ASUS Update for Eee PC tool. How? Press Start > Programs > ASUS > ASUSUpdate > ASUSUpdate.

Then, select ‘Check BIOS Information’. If your BIOS version is outdated, you should make backup by selecting ‘Save current BIOS to file’ – save file (.rom) to removable disk.

To upgrade select ‘Update BIOS from Internet’. Make sure you closed all programmes (except the update tool and modem program (if any)) and your netbook not on batteries mode.

Follow the instructions on the screen. reboot

After that, enter bios setting hold F2 at first boot. Then select reset to default values.
